Just signed up last night..... Bought my CBX new in '82 and had it ever since. Always had the intent to sign-up to ICBXOA but never did. So after almost 33 years....
Like a few others, first saw the CBX mentioned in Cycle magazine back in '79 or '80 ( still got the magazine too ). Anyway, had to get one....resistance was useless.....
Have moved around the country a fair bit over the many years due to work, and for the moment have settled north of Adelaide. After sitting for many years ( the bike, not me) due to other priorities (well, family, kids, work, etc at least) have started to get the 'ol girl going again. Got the carbs in pieces at the moment and fitting a Randakk master kit. Wish me luck...
One thing quite noticeable is the world wide CBX community. All willing to assist and provide advice. Absolutely outstanding. Mike Nixon too. He must get a squillion emails for advice and never hesitates to help or relate his considerable experience. All priceless.
Looking forward to (finally) joining the community.
