Carb Blanking Plug Rubbers
Hi Anybody Help with the blanking Plugs for 79 carbs - I recently overhauled my carbs with all viton o-rings - but the blanking plugs turned to mush after a few weeks - where i live we have E20 gasoline, but even the 95 octane must have ethanol in it. I would think the blanking plugs are HNBR or something similar - so I would need Viton blanking plugs - or perhaps teflon, or even brass plugs, the way am thinking now - a bit of wood would have to do

The plugs from Randakk are Viton.
I do not know if you can buy them separately from the kits.

The idle passage plugs shown above were not sourced from me ...wrong color. Ours are indeed made of genuine Viton.steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:The plugs from Randakk are Viton.
