No longer a lurker

Post by jackstraw »

Whoops, I've been a lurker and occasional poster on here for some time and just realised that I haven't actually said Hi
I sold my CBX some years ago and have ridden an assortment of other bikes since then. Remember my old six with some affection and so money permitting I am hoping to get another in my garage probably early 2016
Having got used to 21st Century bikes I think my ideal would be a nice CBX B/C to import from US, and as a project unfairing it and giving it (slightly) enhanced brakes and suspension.
Not sure this will ever happen but hey, I can dream!
Was fortunate to get a couple of pics of me and my bike in Ian Foster's brilliant books 1 & 2. (Now need to get another CBX if I am going to stand a chance of getting into book 3, if one is ever produced!)

Welcome Jack!

May be worth looking at the UK Riders Club Website as I have just placed an advert for a member selling a naked ProLink American import on there in new black paint for arounk £6,000 with less than 5,000 miled on the clock!

Good luck.

Regards

Thanks for the heads up on that one Goss
I don't think I will be able to put the money together until the Spring which is a great shame
Cheers
