I took the "Short Bus" to school because they told me it was faster.....what did they tell you ?

If you can't find a Honda tail that suits your build i would suggest a tail from LPM.
Obviously paint is required but these replacements tails and side covers are beefier than stock and fit well.
There are usually some for sale on E-Bay from various sources, if you can't get them direct. I had them on a '79 and was very happy.

I have never seen a David Silver repro so i can't offer an opinion on them.
The LPM do come with a pre-drilled step on the underside for the latches.

I don' even use the latches because that is what causes these tails to crack in the first place. I also cut down the rubber bumper.

i learn somting every day here..Rubber bumper is cut down on the rear grab bar on mine also, was going to replace ...the way the previous owner cut everything off this dragbike , just figured it was for weight savings lol
