Fork upgrade

Anybody have any input on upgrading a 79 to 900F forks & calipers? How do you mount the 79 bars?

Okay, so it is winter and everyone is hibernating! Someone once said that there was not much activity on this forum and I can see where they get that idea! Some of the other forums are buzzing with activity...must be the age group we are in! Looking to upgrade my 79 front forks, now I'm not sure I want to use the 900F because I'd like to keep the stock bar/guage package. Anyone got a late model front end to sell?
