Re: my other projects
It would be difficult to put a value on your bikes without photos and a maintenance history but a guesstimate on a '85 GS1150 in good condition would be $2500-$3000.

Re: my other projects
I'd not get too optimistic about big bucks there. If you are talking about a mid-'70s RD250 Yamaha, even practically new (question cosmetic condition from sitting in a barn) won't be worth $3K. Maico - who knows? Some of those old MXers are worth a bit, the smaller ones seem to be worth the most. Looking at the recent eBay listings for Maicos, some have brought decent money, but seem to be total restorations that involved a lot of time an money. For the kind of money I'm seeing for retail on those bikes, you'd better get them for next-to-nothing and have to put very little into them, to make any real money in the end. OK - end of the cold-water bath! Hey - if it's what you want to do and can make a buck or two, or just enjoy the journey - go for it!

Re: my other projects
I don't know anything about the Yamaha RD, never had an emotional connection to these. But I agree with Steve and would not dismiss the value of the Suzuki that easily.
I also agree with Dave, that it will be a gamble if you try to make money on any of them.
The Maico is sort of a niche item. If you find one of them enthusiasts that are out there, it could bring a pretty dollar.
Unfortunately, North America may not be the right market. The bikes were originally made in Germany, named after Maisch & Co and they had such a strong fan community that a company, I believe in the Netherlands, considered it worthwhile to buy all the rights and continue to offer parts and, at least for a while, complete bikes.
You may have seen these already, these links may lead you to an idea of the value or someone who is more knowledgeable than any of us.
Good luck with these projects. Don't forget pictures!

Given those conditions, sounds like you really can't lose - hope you do well on the transaction.
