wiring looks a bit rough. Might I recommend you get some SHRINK WRAP TUBE LENGTHS from a reputable automotive shop. At least that will tidy up and insulate at the same time. Can be a quick fix or if done properly a long term solution.wes1964 wrote:Ok guys just a follow up on my turn signals, tried the 3 prong flasher, blew a fuse (must have wired it wrong) I think I have worked out that White and Green line is ignition, Grey is turn signal switch, have bought a new flasher cam but two prong now will try tonight. Found some other issues with the wiring in the head light bucket, I kept losing power to the white/green stripe wire when ignition was on and found some crimped wires in the headlight bucket for the turn signals so took off the tape and soldered them and now I have good connection, check pictures out. Will keep searching tonight stay tuned.

Hi Gang, sorry been a while in between posts. Sychronised my carbies the other day while watching Bathurst, took about 4 hours but what a great experience and the bike sounds better, but now when bike at idle and I give the throttle a twist it stays reving at 2200 - 2500 revsand wont return to 900 rpm unless I reduce the throttle stop screw adjuster. Could it be the pilot screw adjustments on the carbies or maybe a sticky throttle cable? Look forward to hearing your thoughts, cheers Wes.
