VF1000R front end
I have these fork legs in my stash that I thought were CB1100R units because of the red sliders and the quick release axle. Turns out that upon closer look they must be VF1000R units as they are much shorter than the R forks. Has anybody, by any chance, ever tried to put a set of these in a CBX?

I do believe Dr.Tom is running a VF1000R front end on his race bike.

Interesting! Can't really tell for sure from the pic. These may be VF1000R sliders, but he must have changed the tubes to a longer version. Look how much space he has above the upper bridge. He has clip-ons on it and the tubes still stick out.jt wrote:

CRAP! I split this thread last night but forgot to leave a breadcrumb here. Sorry guys, that was clumsy.
Steven, I took the liberty of starting a thread in the "Project Threads" section, and you can find it here.

I will finish tidying that up now.
