Re: cbx world
Yes, same thing here. Appears to be down but I'm sure Dave's working on it.

I was told the server crashed and Dave is working on it. I sure hope they get it going again and I hope they can save all the old information.

No, you didn't. A long story and a lot of bad history. CBXWorld is a great resource with a lot of good guys (many of the same as here).

This site and the other site has helped me very much getting these old bikes back on the road again instead of being parted out. I could not of done them without these sites. The internet is a great resource. I remember back in the day all you had was the dealer for information. If you go to the dealer today about these bikes most guys in ther haven't even seen a CBX let alone work on them.

Re: cbx world
Yes, there is a server issue that prevents access to CBXWorld and yes, Dave Krager is supposedly working on it. Knowing his attention to detail, I have no doubt that he has everything backed up and will bring CBXWorld back completely.
As far as the the two sites are concerned, this here is a club forum, connected to the ICOA and supposed to give members a platform to communicate and exchange information about themselves and the CBX and help each other with issues with their bikes. Of course, everybody is welcome and we hope newbies eventually become members. There are a few areas and benefits that are accessible only for members. After all, part of the membership dues goes into financing and maintaining the site.
CBXWorld is another great resource for a CBX owner and has become invaluable for many in their efforts to keep their bikes on the road. It is a privately owned and financed site and the owner requires registration of new members and the site is not accessible for guests.

Re: cbx world
The cbx world site worked for a short time the other day and for the last couple of days is not accessible again, it’s been kind of hit or miss for a while now. I kind of figured that is was something like that going on or all the idiots out there that love to screw up something for others, thank goodness we have somebody like Dave taking care of things there.
