prolinlk rear shock

Hi, I replace the fluid and seal ( using mike nixons advice adding more fluid then stock)on my rear shock from my 82. after about 3 months I noticed my shock leaked some fluid but it still holding air presssure. It doesnt leak fluid anymore, and is still holding air pressure do I need to replace the seal again?

Not if it doesn't leak. Could have just been grease from the seal that melted and ran down, or even leftover oil still in the rubber boot. :-)
