Gasket sheets

Hey all,

My alternator cover gasket gave up the ghost and when I tried to order a new one, I found it was discontinued. Do you folks have any tips or tricks for cutting a new one out of a sheet of gasket material? It'll be my first time.

Thank you for the offer! Unfortunately it's #15 on that list- 31140-422-306. I ordered the part from Ron Ayers whom informed me it was discontinued. I have yet to tear into it, though, so I may contact you if I end up needing #27.

I was able to dig a few of these up. But the vendor made me pay dearly (probably because they were discontinued). They are $25.-/piece.

siriusconinc.com has them also but you have to buy the complete gasket set for $99...If you need a valve cover gasket and end cap gaskets they are in the gasket also. The valve cover gaskets are 65 at honda alone.
