Re: Bridgestone Fan?
your link did not work. Try this:
http://www.ironbutt.org/forum/forum_pos ... ridgestone
Report safety issues to: DoT: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm
That should get Bridgestone's attention...

Re: Bridgestone Fan?
There is something definitely wrong with some batch of tire rubber that Bridgestone compounded. Or cured improperly. I'm no rubber chemist. However, I dealt with rubber seals enough during my 40 years to know that NO rubber of this application will freeze-crack in this manner at reasonable temperature. Reasonable temperature here in this application should be about -40 degrees. Hopefully, the guy did go to NHTSA.

Always had good luck with BT-45's --- just put a new set on the CB900F today. I hope I don't have any issues.

Same for me, Z.
The last 8 tires i have bought have been BT45. Great grip with decent/not great wear life.

Re: Bridgestone Fan?
As many have, I run S11 on my X and my GS. Never had a problem. Just might take an extra look, though, before riding after Winter lay-up.
