UK Newbie
Hi, im Paul from Warrington in the North West of England and have just joined the forum. Im an old time biker and was around at the start of the "Superbike" era. Ive had a variety of bikes from old Brit's to a GSXR 1100 Suz (my most modern & very scary) My most recent bike was "The other six" a Z1300 Kawa which i loved more than any bike ive ever owned but unfortunately i had to sell to fund one of my other obsessions. I did have a test ride on a used CBX1000 many years ago but "her indoors" wouldn't let me buy it
So after loosing my Z13 ive sorta decided to see how Honda's take on the six is like. Im on the hunt for a Z model as the Pro link version leaves me cold. No doubt ill be pestering you guys for info and advice in the near future.

Welcome, Paul! I am sure you will find plenty of help and advice here and closer to where you are. There are several fine gentlemen from the U.K. who frequent this forum and they will no doubt contact you to help you get infected with the CBX virus.
As I said in a different thread just recently, the KZ1300 and the CBX, although both sixes and both introduced to the world in 1978 are two very different animals with their unique pluses and cons.
You have to be prepared to get a different bike and different experience. Nobody coming from either model to the other should expect a close comparison.
I own both and to me, they are as different as my Harley FXSTS is to my Ducati TBR, .....O.K., maybe not quite, but still..
