Another newbie from South Africa

Post by pommy_dave »

Hi!

My name is Dave and I am also from South Africa. I am lucky enough to have 2 CBX Prolinks; one grey and one white. As and when I find good examples I will buy them - I hope to have at least 6 by the end of next year. I also collect other Honda classics and have a 1976 CB400 four, a 1979 CB 550 Four K, and a 1981 Honda CB900F Bol D'or.

Biking is the best!

Welcome Dave!

I recently returned from a 2-week motorcycling tour of your beautiful country. What a spectacular place, and a wonderful place to ride a motorcycle.

You're among kindred spirits here "-).

Hi ya, Dave.
With a line-up off bikes like that we will definitely need pics.
I am assuming you guys get a 12 month riding season?

We are very fortunate with the weather here, however our farmers might agree! We have brilliant sunshine most days and spectacular thunder storms that only last about 45 minutes. We have an extremely beautiful country but many of our roads are in shocking condition, so we have to chose our routes very carefully. We have potholes so large that you could put a roof over them and live in them!
