Vacuum valve removal.

Post by steve murdoch icoa #5322 »

I am removing the vacuum valve on a set of '81 carbs.
I am wondering what to do about the vent tube coming from carb #3.
Can i block it off at the carb or should i route it into the airbox?

That's not a 'vent' tube - it's vacuum. You have to plug the hole with a screw like the other 5 have.

Thanks, Dave.
I had the wrong word stuck in my brain after spending some quality time installing vent tees without splitting the carbs.
I did discover that i need new glasses.
