Engine testing

Post by preston »

Don't know how to get it here, but someone can. I made a video of my shop and updated test stand if you are interested.

Google search----presto428---- presto428's channel---- Video of finger pointing to vacuum gauges

Thanks for the help in advance

MOD EDIT: My pleasure Preston. (Nils)

Preston
Very cool set up you have.
We've seen a number of posts where members have questioned why one or two cylinders run 20-30 degrees hotter than the rest when measured at the exhaust header. In your video you mentioned checking for this so I'm wondering what is an acceptable variation for you and how you adjust the rogue cylinders back into line.
Thanks
Ross

20-30 degree differtial in measuring the header temp is nothing to worry about, now 100 degree variance is something else.
