Plastic jets

Were plastic jets the norm in 79? :shock: My 79 had plastic main jets installed when I opened the carbs. The aren't going back in.

Standard jets were all brass - I have seen plastic ones put in also. Go back to brass.

Wow! Never seen any! Wouldn't there be a danger that they melt or at least age badly?
