Newb on the board

Post by bikeymikey748 »

Ola from Montreal, Canada! I've been thinking about getting my hands on a CBX for some time now. It appears that I will finally make the move, and am counting on the wealth of knowledge of the members to help me in my mods/screw-ups.
Here's a taste of one of my projects. Funny, going from a 'single' to a 'six'. Still, the Sr is being sold (likely) to help finance the Honda.

I'll likely be lurking hereabouts for a spell as I accumalte bits...'til then ...

Mike:
Welcome! Good luck in your search for a CBX. Don't worry, we love singles here too. Many of us have them - the KLR 650 being very popular. I got the first TT500 Yam that the dealer got in back in Jan of '76. One of the best bikes I've owned. Keep in touch.

Cool looking SR, Mike.
A guy near me has Omars on his speed dial, i think he has 5 or 6 grand into it now.
You will find that the 6 cylinders are just as addictive as the Thumper.
