Valve job needed
I thought of doing my own valve job...when I realized that by the time I procured the tools if available I'd be better off letting someone who has everything already do it. Can anyone suggest a place to send the head to that's not to pricey and does good work? I think I just need the exhaust valves reseated. The intake appear to be just fine. Anybody?

Preston Marks in Florida is doing a good job. I don't know how pricey he is, though, he usually works close with Louis.
The best way may be to go to your Honda dealer and ask the service guys if someone will do it for you. If the work is clearly defined and there is no risk to run into a NLA of parts, they usually do it, in spite of the bike being older than 5 years.

I would love to help you out but I'm absolutely swamped right now. If you have an old-time local Honda shop, they may do it for you. Preston in Florida does nice work - you can contact him through Louis or TIMS.

Thanks for the thought Dave. I've been in contact with him and am currently seeing how to work it into my budget. On the other hand, I may wind up doing the work myself. Will pull out the magic 8 ball again tonite and see what comes up.
