On the 82, how do you remove the lock set on the saddle bag bracket. I am changing out a bent bracket. I know there is a trick to it, but for the life of me I can not remember how to do it.
Damn I am getting OLD.

There are screws with no heads on the underside of the bracket. You'll need to use Vise-Grips or similar and then install regular screws or order the special break-away ones from Honda.

I just cut the heads off the bolts and now that I have the lock off, I can see there is no trick to getting them off other than death grips or cutting them off as I did.
