1979 cbx no fire to the pulse generator

i'm getting fire to the coils but when i turn it over no spark from coils
i tried the screw driver between the pulse generator no spark
can any one help me

Hello & welcome lobo, if you have power at the coils ( where are you measuring it ???) you have ignition contact & engine run switches OK. My suspicion would be a bad connector/connection or a bad spark unit...

As requested here is the test sequence for the sparky unit Lobo. Saving a "black box" change.

Lots of guys have converted to Dyna S ignition systems which make the sparky unit redundant... I'm sure someone will have a good spare cheap or a loaner to try out...
