Beware of this seller cbxclassicsix197982 as it appears he has walked off with some buyers money and sent nothing. It has been three weeks and he won't answer emails and already has received his first negative on this issue. I may have lost almost $100 to him and want to be sure no one else bids on his stuff. He also listed some CBX auctions after the group I bid into so one can only wonder if he is padding his wallet before changing identities and doing it again. I believe we are protected by Ebay Buyer Protection but it doesn't make me feel any better.
Having said all this, if it turns out there has been a disaster on his end beyond his control I will come back and amend this post but in my opinion there can be no valid reason for not responding through Ebay Messages.
Ebay just gave my money back but I really wanted the front forks for my 80! I imagine less patient people than I started raising havoc over not receiving their stuff after a week or so and Ebay had finished trying to contact him some days ago and started issuing refunds. I hope they don't let him off the hook, and pursue this through his state Attorney General's office. As you can tell thieves are my pet peeve and I dream about a three strikes your injected policy. Sorry, I am leaving on my ride now.
I can confirm this. I bought a part from the same seller and have not received anything yet. Filed a complaint with ebay and right now I am waiting for my part or my refund through ebay buyer protection
