Where can you purchase a motorcycle cover with CBX on the side.

That seems like it would be a great thing to offer on the ICOA web store.

EMS - Couldn't the members have both varietys available?
With CBX and/or CBX PROLINK on the sides?
Maybe DOW would provide them in a minimum order?
How about taking pre-orders to get a gauge on the market?
I would pre-buy two myself.

alimey4u2 - Crime in my area is average, but I do not leave the bikes
outside unattened. I cover them inside so there warm and
cozy. My Yamaha R1 has a blue cover and it likes it. My 84
Aspencade has a factory cover with logo. Would be nice
to have a branded or logo'd cover for the CBX's.

away from your CBX. I'm sure it is very nice, and where did it
come from? Is it maked with CBX? Was it a Honda product? Was it
made by Betsy Ross? Are these available already in the market
place?

Guys, in general it seems to me, the cover would be an item for the Goodies section as an item to buy.

But, on another note, I've tried several times to order on the web site and it will not take my money or complete the order. What gives with that or Am I just stupid?

Sorry George, my comments were more of an inside joke around here. I use Nelson Rigg 'Its Not Just A Bike' covers and love them. There used to be a company that made good CBX covers I've heard about but they went out of business some time ago. Its doubtful the cover I referred to is still being made by the new owner's company, especially after I bought one and made public, exactly what they thought a good fitting cover actually was. To my knowledge no one makes a cover with CBX printed on it.

A cheap way would be print an iron on motif just like T- thirts. Staples/Office Max sell the paper, just need someone to give you a good photo of a CBX logo. I have one if you wish & can e-mail it to you..

A place that does custom embroidery(don't think I spelled that right) may be able to do something for you if you have a pic of the logo. Better yet would be an digitized version of the logo.

The cover issue may be more complex than it looks at first glance:

What cover is desired? A dust cover for inside storage or a sturdy cover with weather protection for outside parking during rides (which would have to include straps to secure it)? Any cover would have to be different for the early 79/80s and the Prolink bikes to accomodate for the different size of the bikes.

Larry's proposal to apply a logo on your own cover, is probably the best idea.

I would think that if someone made a cover which exactly fit a CBX and they offered them in two versions, one with a CBX logo on the side and one without, that the 'naked' version would greatly outsell the 'advertised' version simply because few owners of valuable, classic bikes which are ooccasionally left outside overnight (such as during a motel stay) would want anyone to know what they have hidden under there - I certainly wouldn't

I think this is where Larry was going with his 'crime in your area' comment George - If you leave a CBX sitting outside much and you advertise it's a CBX under your cover . . . . . it's not going to be there in the morning one day

I used a 'naked' Nelson Rigg model too . . . . and I'm GLAD is doesn't say 'CBX' on it anywhere ;)

No needle point skills here Larry. That would the mother in law, she has a computerized embroidery machine that will duplicate a digital photo, logo or text. I don't think it would be big enough to handle something like a bike cover. I have seen some comercial embroidery shops that could probably do something like that. bet it wouldn't be cheap though.

THESE ARE ALL EXCELLENT THOUGHTS, COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS.

MY TUNNEL VISION WAS TO HAVE A NICE COVER TO COMPLIMENT A GREAT MACHINE.

SEEMS LIKE THIS WOULD BE A MUST HAVE FOR MOST OWNERS TO HAVE FOR STORAGE IN THERE OWN CORAL, IF NO PLACE ELSE.

ALSO, IF NEW PRODUCTS ARE ANTICIPATED FOR THE GODDIE'S CORNER. THIS WOULD PROBABLY BE VERY POPULAR ITEM FOR GIFT GIVING TO AN OWNER THAT HAS EVERYTHING ALREADY UNTIL THIS CAME ALONG.

BUT I SPEAK FROM AN ISOLATED CORNER IN A STATE THAT IS SMALLER THAN A HOLE IN THE SEAT OFFERED FOR BIG BUCKS ON EBAY, SO WHO AM I TO KNOW WHAT'S VIABLE OR NOT.

BUT, FOR MY ( 100TH ) POST, IT DID MAKE A FEW MINDS THINK FROM MY SIDE OF THE HORSE.
