uh-oh, CBX starter problem!

uh-oh, CBX starter problem!

My 81's starter button would not crank my warmed-up CBX today, the lights dimmed, and relay lightly clicked. Battery is fresh. I have noticed this happening before, but it always eventually cranked. Always thought it was the starter switch being damp as I give it regular washes. Is this time for a starter replacement? 3 hours later (in my garage, thankfully) same problem- no crank, just click. Darn it! :cry:

Andy: Before you take anything off, check all connections. Especially the ground to the starter.

Thanx to Rick Bentley, fresh starter w/ new brushes is on its way. Talk about quick!!! His response took about 11.46 sec. @ 116.55 mph!!!!
