new alternater

I don't plan on riding the turbo enough to merit a Jung alternater. But it's going to get one eventually. Clearance isn't a problem. I like the fact that on the Kawasaki alternater there's no side load and you can remove the end plate and get to all the electronics that are pertinent. I've also never heard of Kawasaki's with these alternaters having problems with them.

I still have several of these carbon fibre alternator covers. If anybody is interested. Nice to hide the unsightly magnesium cover on early Xes. They could also shield the alternators from excessive heat radiated form the exhaust pipe on Turbo applications.

I recently installed the jung alternator also. The purchase made my bunghole pucker but I think in the long run it will be well worth it. One less thing I'll have to worry about. Great upgrade!

Yea, things had to get moved around a bit. I should have taken it off after the alternator install but it's not bothering anything. I thought you might notice that late model fuse holder was in an unusual location first though.
