Post by Des Brown »

Can anyone tell me if a Stefan Jung alternator will fit a Z with Rickman crashbars.
Thanks

Des, I am not that familiar with the fit of the Rickman bars, I just know from what I have seen on pictures that they wrap around quite a bit. If you have a Z with the small Euro alternator and the bars are very close, it is likely you may have a problem. If you have the large alternator and a little space between bars and alt housing, you should be fine.

If you could please Larry, the right side edge is most important as this is were the crash bars start to bend inwards

Hope this helps Des, I have the SunDog billet cover ( now sold via TIMS) but the one Stefan uses is the original thin plate, so I measured for that.

Note: Measurements are from the center of the top rear engine bolt....Imperial measurements, sorry .
