Electrical Fun
Now that riding season is over, I'm back into building season.
I've been completely changing the wiring system on the race bike restore/build. It needed a bunch of wiring harness work. With the wiring diagram from Mike (EMS), I've repaired/replaced a bunch of wiring.
The bike has received a new start switch, main fuse, battery, battery wires, turn signals/wiring, turn signal relay, head light wiring/sockets, rear brake wiring/switch and euro X handle bar switches. The Euro switches were from an early model and needed to be attached to new connectors on the late model wiring harness of the race bike.
Now all lighting/controls work. Next up will be installation of digital instrument pod and all of it's senders.

I like being able to put in new connects when needed rather than reuse old ones. Especially on power circuits.
They also sell nice plastic storage boxes with dividers for the connectors. I had just completed loading one of the boxes before dumping the entire contents on the floor.

Chris, did you dump them on the floor because you were in a hurry because people keep asking you questions that you take the time to answer, causing you to run out of time making you hurry(oop's did I just ask Chris a question?)?
