Repacking a Kerker

Post by Chris »

I have a very used Kerker 6 into 2 that I want to use as "rider" pipes on my '79.

They sound a little "tinny". Can these pipes be repacked? If so, does anyone know how to do this. Where to get the packing and how to install.

Thanks

Yes Chris, JC Whitney sell glass packing material to name but one....George uses his underfloor home insulation....... If I remember, my Kerkers on my ole Suzi there was one screw at the end, underneath & the baffle/tube comes out with packing easily in view...
