Hi, could anyone advise the best solution for a single sided swingarm conversion to a prolink?
Is there any kits or what's the easiest arm to use ?
Thanks in advance
Cheers Graham

Type ‘single sided swingarm’ in the search box and read away you will find some examples.Carrot wrote: Wed Jun 07, 2023 12:34 pm Hi, could anyone advise the best solution for a single sided swingarm conversion to a prolink?

Re: Pro link single sided swing arm
There are no kits.
Fabrication is required in any modifications such as this.
The VFR750/800F swingarm is probably the easiest to do, as the pivot mounting is a bolt on. But the upper shock mount isn't.

Re: Pro link single sided swing arm
Converting a single-sided swingarm to a prolink suspension setup is possible, but it requires custom work. Here are some options:
Custom Fabrication: You might need a skilled fabricator to create the necessary parts.
Aftermarket Conversion Kits: Some kits might be available, but check if they fit your bike.
OEM Parts: Explore parts from other motorcycles with prolink suspension that could be adapted.
Get Expert Advice: Consult experienced mechanics or custom builders for insights.
Consider Costs and Feasibility: It can be complex and costly, so weigh the pros and cons.
Keep in mind the potential impact on your bike's handling and legality in your area before making any modifications.

If you don't have mad, fabricating/welding skills and TOTALLY understand motorcycle frame geometry, find someone that has these skills and PAY THEM to do it for you.

We appear to have acquired ourselves a bot! This is kind-of entertaining.bertanon wrote: Mon Jul 24, 2023 3:19 pm Converting a single-sided swingarm to a prolink suspension setup is possible, but it requires custom work. Here are some options:
