But I still have the German license plate bracket, which I am willing to part with in exchange for an excellent condition Candy Glory Red tankEMS wrote:He is working on another "authentic" Euro-spec bike. He already has another 300 km/h speedometer that he has to find the approbiate home for. Funny thing: I took that long rear fender off my 79 when I came to the States, because I hated it. Must have thrown it away at one time.

...the rubber inner fender that goes half way down the rear tire?....
I have one of those lying loose in the garage. If that's what you guys are describing. It has a custom 1-1/4" Grateful Dead Deaths head sticker applied just above the bottom lip.

.
If it is the Euro version, which is LONGER than the U.S. one, that is what Louis is looking for, Bill.
Oh, and btw, it's not really rubber You want to check into this to make sure you don't get mixed up with the materials Could potentially be problematic

My vote is for Dans story on the trains and motorcycling. Here is what I posted on the original thread of this story. Here is the link to everyones comments.
I missed this somehow when it was originally posted and was lucky it made our weekly top posts pics because to miss it would be a great loss for me or to any motorcyclist.
What a great story! Actually one of the best, if not the best on this line since I have joined the club and participated.
You have a real gift Dan, please write some more stories for us all to enjoy. As I read it I was right there with you and now I am going to watch out for trains myself and give it a try.
I would suggest you submit this article to the Xpress so all the club members can enjoy it just like I have.
Also like Chris spare bedroom photo and all the others ofcourse also, but this time Dans was my fave.
Thanks again
DRaye
