I have a "Bucket List" of roads that I want to ride on the motorcycle. I have been to the "Tail of the Dragon" several times, I have ridden Rte 66, at least a part of it and I took advantage of the long weekend to cross another one off my list:

No, Vern. The base color is a really boring 2012 "Weissaluminium" (White Aluminum ) and I added the gold stripes to give it a little more appeal.

Nice Mike. I understand you can see the pacific from Marietta.

Cool, Barry! You caught me. May I ask how you did it?

Now you need to include the Mulholland Hwy. You can also do the west end of Route 66 on the same day. It ends at the Santa Monica Pier

That's from about 5 days ago. Highway 36 from Red Bluff, CA to Fortuna. A most amazing road, I know of no equal. Move it to the top of your list. You'll thank me later.
