Quattro de Mayo

Post by Terry »

Just a few pics. Turned cold and very windy up in the hills and then it followed me south so I went home after a tankfull. Just cleaned up the 79 so there may a few shots of it in here...everyone remember what they look like? For those HTML challenged,

For the others, See that #1 pipe? Its not blue, its just about devoid of chrome!!! Hey its 29 year old OE! The paint on that Harley was beautiful and the BMW didn't have any paint at all! Was cold enough to see your breath so I took off but the wind kicked up so bad it wasn't worth the fight. I may take it on my short vacation at the end of the month. Anyone been to the Grand Canyon this time of year?

The exhaust looked stock but it sounded real raspy. The Harley's paint job was very nice. Shiny shiny chrome!!!

Yep all metal. Notice the hinged windscreen on the sidecar? The car has room to lay down inside it, for a short person.

Nice pics and report. I do object to the title, however. Quattro is Italian for Four. Spanish would be cuatro, and I think it was supposed to be a play on the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo :?: :?:

I am? cool. But to be honest I thought you were refering to Audi's all wheel drive system. I just mentioned quattro pro to get everyone off the track.
