OEM Parts

When I order a Honda OEM part I expect it to look and feel like the part I'm replacing. I've received some parts that I question their origination.
Original Honda bolt on the left with grooves in the side.

Replacement bolt on the right is cheaply made.

Packaging indicated Honda but not the tradional red tag you see on a lot of parts.

Unfortunately that's just the way it is these days. Corporate integrity has gone down the toilet. Even with Honda.

Say it ain't so, I don't think Honda would put their name on that bolt. IMHO

Honda doesn't make that bolt. They buy it from a supplier. Most likely now from China. Cost reduction is the buzzword. Fasteners like this in the vehicle industry have a purpose. Looking good (or original) is not it. :no
