Louis Mintrone is an ICOA member, and has a large inventory of NOS and used parts. He's gonna have just about anything. Very helpful, very responsive:

When you buy used parts, it is my advice to always get a picture of the actual part you are buying. Saves a lot of time in discussions afterwards. Perception of condition is different in everybody.

Bill Brint from Tim's CBX also has a lot of parts, somewhat concentrated in engine stuff, but he's got lots of other stuff too, suspension stuff, etc. Bill has commissioned some reproductions of unavailable items too. Like Louis, Bill is super helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, the works:

David Silver Spares is in the UK, and seems well regarded here. Similar to CMSNL they purchase large stocks of NOS parts and list them available and catalogued to the needy collectors like us:

For parts searches, I have taken to using these folks' online fiche, in part because they indicate whether or not an item is available or not right in the fiche. I hate to admit it though, I usually order elsewhere.

Several of the guys here have little cottage industries, making one-off items now and then. They don't really advertise, and they do it more for love than money it seems, but keep your eyes and ears open and you may be surprised at what offers for help you get. Also, although parts can be expensive, many of the guys here have stashes and will sell stuff to other members very reasonably. If you can't find what you need, post a 'wanted' and see what turns up.

Please mention any other vendors and or good or bad experiences so we can keep this list current and add comments where necessary.

I suspect that a year or so from now they'll be out of business due to all of this stuff

J.R., you make really awesome products by all accounts and your customers seem to love you. Glad to have you back on the site, even if just to read.

Let's just say that I was asked to come over and be part of the group by a few respected ICOA members and thanks for the invite.

I have 2 of the alternator conversions from J.R. and they have performed flawlessly and look great.
I am also feeling warm and fuzzy but i think it was bad Chinese.
