HELP! Need #1 or #2 Carburetor bowl 1981- 1982

Post by Ironangel John »

Found a leaking overflow tube in one of my carbs, leaking at base. Decided to pull it and loctite it in to seal. Carefully chucked bowl in my drill to hold it and twisted and pulled it ever so easily, it was moving, a little Kroil to help the effort.....it was coming, then SNAP! A stream of obscenities followed! Does anyone have a parts rack laying about I could purchase a bowl off of that won't cost a first child and mother in law? LOL

Thanks

I'm sure Terry can fix you up, but you need not throw away your bad one. Those overflow tubes never come out intact. You could have just soldered the crack in the old one, or now, go the a hobby store and get brass tubing to match, cut to length, and epoxy into the bowl.
