Does anyone have any experience with combustion chamber cleaner products? Are they recommended for motorcycles? An auto mechanic neighbor of mine says the TKO product from Kleen-Flo works really well. It is designed to remove the carbon build up from the chamber, valves, etc and blow it all out the pipe.

George, I don't have any experience with any chemical cleaners, just the kind recommended by various Ferrari owners- the Italian tune-up. Long stretch of open road and about 4 or 5 miles of medium to high rpm steady cruise. When you get bored with that a couple of quick visits to redline. Even if it doesn't work it sure is more fun than pouring something into the gas tank!!!

Best I've heard of is GM Top End Cleaner from any Chevy dealer.About $8 a bottle.

Next is Kawasaki Chem Clean.

Mark, Come on now, don't be so modest. Everybody knows that 25 lbs. of boost will clean it out better. As the saying goes " Like using a Claymore to plunge a toilet- It will never clog again !!!!"
