Anyone using a windshield worth recommending?

If anyone has had success with an aftermarket windshield I'd love to know the manufacturer. Sometimes I like to use one on longer rides, but with the factory bars, I'm thinking most will not mount correctly since they are usually designed for the round stock bars. Thanks to the group. I just bought my first cbx last month and am still getting used to it.

Plexistar 2 works almost as good as the 81/82 fairings. They also have the appropriate hardware for non-tubular handlebars. I had one on a 79 that a friend now has in NC.

I really like the looks of this screen and I'm checking with my local dealer on price and availability. What did you pay, and were there any additional kits/hardware needed for mounting to the non-tubular bars? I'm also wondering if they will fit Euro-sport bars, which is what I have on my '80.

The "all stainless" brackets & fittings mount to the two headlamp bolts. There are slots in the brackets to accomodate this but they are too small. However luck has it, if you Dremel (or drill) the base of the slots out so the bolts will just fit, You will find they mount perfectly. DONT Dremel the entire slot out, just the bottom (closed end) of the slots.
Later on I removed seperfluous material to tidy them up & then sprayed the brackets satin black. They now look like a factory installation....

Hi, I'm wondering why you chose the model A755 in particular? Was it merely preference of size and style, or are there fitment problems with the 760? TIA, as I'd like to order one next week and if the A760 will work, I'd like to go with that one as it's a little larger, which will make riding in cold or rainy weather more comfy.

I personally find the A755 to be perfect for my height (5'10") It directs the air off my chest & head & has little or no buffeting & keeps the "sporty" lines...
Others have tried different GIVI models but buffeting has been a problem. I am not saying that this will be the case for the A760 though, all I can say is that I highly recommend the A755....
