Plexus for nearly everything. Also McGuiars polish and Back to Black from Mother's. Also NeverDull for the road grime on the pipes.

303 Aerospace Protectant on just about everything. Mothers chrome polish on the pipes.

S100 is the absolutely the best way to wash, use an old paint brush to scrub the wheels and nasty areas, followed by compressed air to dry. 81/82 black engines really benefit from the S100 engine bright, lasts at least 4-5 washes. Shineola aerosol is instant gratification on black plastic and reverse comstars. Mothers mag and chrome polish works wonders on chrome combined w/ 000 steel wool. Stage 2 paint polish and glaze is my choice on all paints and shields. And if you've never tried clay, it is unbelievable until you've tried it on paint thats got contaminants like tar, bugs and general spooge. Tree sap removes instantly w/ rubbing alcohol. Want to wipe your bike or car down but don't feel like dragging out the hose? Spray and wipe it w/ Glass Plus, great stuff! Just don't use windex, which contains amonia.

I detail high end cars and lots of motorcycles for a living so I try all products. Best thing to clean and dress a car interior : Murphy's Oil Soap and water w/ a wash cloth and cheap paintbrush- works on leather, vinyl, carpet, plastic. Wash the interior liberally then chase (dry) it w/ micro-fiber cloth, no lint.

First time every year, I give the paint job a treatment with Dura-Glo, a teflon-containing wax.

Somewhat expensive, but well worth it. Protects against effects of acid rain (should it ever catch you by surprise) and harmful sun-rays.

I also cover my instrumenst when parked in the sun for a longer period of time.

a little low tech (old) and a little high tech...

For degreaser, grungy, Simple Green in full strength. Works dandy and it's biodegradable.

For aluminumumum touch up I have used Simichrome for years. Let's see... since the mid 60's? Yep.

Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish if it needs to be brought back from dull and is a large area.

Turtle Wax? Yep, my turtle gets dull from time to time. In FACT I just waxxed a Buddy's bike with it and it's shiny now. Course he never washes his bike so anything would have been an improvement. :)
