That's e-x-a-c-t-ly what I'm saying.
So far, I've got some bikes with 95--110 octane leaded track gas (not race fuel) for going on 5 years and it's still good. When I do a annual start-up the bikes start up immediately, idle and run perfectly with zero carb issues.
So when I put a bike up for long term storage (like the 3 X's and several other bikes I have.... that I don't ride)....... I put a gallon of 95-110 leaded track gas in each of them and forget about carb issues down the road.
Carb seals stay soaked with gas and pliable so they don't dry out and the smallest pilot jets never get clogged because of dried-out gasloine deposits.

That's what I've been trying to do............. pass along some great information.
Btw....... I do track events 3--5 times a year, so it's easy for me to bring home 5--10 gallons of track gas for all sorts of good reasons.
I know some of you are not near a track.......and I'm sorry for that.......but should you have one within 50-100 miles, make it a point to take a couple of 5 gallon jugs with you the next time your headed in that direction and get some 95--110 leaded track gas that is usually sold via credit card gas pumps just like you have at normal gas stations.
Even if it's during the week, most race tracks are not locked up, so you can just drive in and get the gas.
My best........ Mike
