Rear wheel binds when torquing axle nut

Greetings,
Just replaced rear/front tires and rear brake pads and bled. Braked work fine. Torquing down the axle nut results in rear tire/wheel assembly very reluctant to turn freely with no binding. Relax torque, and axle turns as usual. Chain adjustment is accurate via adjustment marks and measuring between axle nut and swing arm bolt. All spacers are in and orientated as required. Could bearings be binding up some how?

Thanks

Are you sure that inner spacer that fits into the back of the sprocket hub was installed. # 9 in the pic. It has a tendency to fall out and roll around. It a pretty solid piece so does not make a very loud sound when it hits the floor.

It was item 8 that was left out. All is well now.

Thanks

Good deal glad you found the problem. Had to be a missing spacer as that's what causes the bearing to get in a bind.
