Tires

Post by EMS »

To all:

Somebody posted a tire question. I guess, the right tire selection depends a lot on what you want to do with your CBX and how you ride it. I have Bridgestones on both my 79 and 81, although the most awesome tire out there (IN MY OPINION!!!) is the Pirelli Dragon Evo.
You may have this, but here are some links that may be of interest:
Dunlop: www.dunlopmotorcycle.com
Metzeler www.us.metzelermoto.com
Michelin motous.webmichelin.com
Bridgestone www.bridgestone.com
Pirelli www.us.pirellimoto.com
Avon www.avonmotorcycle.com
The important thing about tires is, make sure to keep the rubber down and the shiny side of your bike up!

Tires & chain size

Post by Guest »

Does anybody have experience running the Dunlop's GT501's?
Also, anybody converted to a 530 chain and sprockets, 79 model in particular.
I have a 79 that has sat long enough and needs to be put back on the road.
Thanks

SR71 CBX - thanks for the reply. Which manufacturer did you get the sprockets and chain from?
Thanks
