Hi There,

My original oil pan had a small crack so I purchased a replacement. The seller included some hardware and it included a guide of some sort that is attached to the oil plan. My 1979 model did not have this and when I look in the parts catalog it appears it is for a 1980 model. Do you know what this guide is for? I am just wondering if I should retrofit it into my CBX.

That’s the left side fuel hose drain guide, it is cut off just past the guide

That’s the left side carburator fuel drain collector hose.nit comes down the left bank in front of the alternator the under the oil filler cover and along the oil pan to the clip
