Comstar wheel restoration.

Post by steve murdoch icoa #5322 »

Just stumbled across this video from Pete Rose on bringing the old wheels back to new condition.
For the new members he operates a highly respected classic motorcycle restoration shop. http://www.digitalpizza.com

Nice. I wonder what he does with the spoked (center) portion of the wheel.

He is physically removed the anodizing on the aluminum, not a clear coat. He is left with bare aluminum that he clear coats. Nothing wrong with that, but you should know what it is doing to the wheel.
