Re-torque engine nuts & bolts

Post by Kool_Biker »

Following my full engine rebuild, is it necessary / good practice to re-torque head and case nuts & bolts, during my forthcoming 1st service at ~1000 Km?
I haven't been able to find a relevant reference in my CBX Z service manual.

Aris:
I've never done it and have never seen it recommended. Wouldn't hurt to check the head bolt torque whilst you are in there though. I wouldn't worry about any others.
