Hi all, I'd like to buy a tap for the oil filter nipple. The oil filter bolt is 20 mm but the adapter that screws into the engine is larger. I don't know what the size is for a tap.
Part # 11209-422-000 can anyone help with the tread size, I'll guess 26mm but I'm not sure.

Mark, don't forget the reason the "adapter" is there is to have a good thread base for the frequent removal/replacement of the filter bolt ( thank you Mr Honda.) I say this just in case you are going to reconfigure the design.
