Regarding the engine sputtering, I replaced the plugs. It does run smoother, but at a steady speed at about 100 KMS it still slightly sputters. When I really open it up, it seems to run great. When I got home I removed the spong air filter completley and took it out for a spin. It seems to run excellent without the filter. I did remove as much oil off the filter as possible. Should I change to a paper element? I know I should not run the bike without a filter. The bike really seems to run better without air restriction>

Most people commomly over-oil sponge filters. Wring out the filter as best you can, being careful not to tear it, and see if that helps. You might even try washing the filter in gasoline and VERY lightly re-oiling. A few drops of oil, evenly distributed are all that's needed.
Or, you could go back to paper or try a K-N replacement.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.
