commuting on a motorcycle does not make as much sense in the rest of the country as much as it does in California. You might save a little time but weather will make your life miserable at times. In CA you can split lanes. Legally. Without people trying to kill you. And the weather cooperates with motorcyclists. A rain storm in socal is considered a mist or drizzle in the rest of the country. I don't agree with his helmet choice though.

A guy around here has someting like that on his scooter .....if they made one for the x i'd buy one :lol:

In 2001 and 2002, BMW produced the C-1 City Scooter. They sold quite a few in the first year, but sales fizzled after that and they discontinued it.
Was never offered in the U.S. Probably would have sold in New York and in California...
