If anyone is not familiar with the throotle cables, I'll give a word of advise. Fish the cables through to the linkage before mounting the carbs. I fished the cables through after the carbs were in the bike. Talk about a pain. I used a piece of wire to do this. Needless to say with the lack of working space it took about 3 hour.

Larry is letting you in on other secrets for your CBX but as you say getting the throttle cables on with the carbs mounted is a real pain in the A$$ for sure, and after acouple of tries I fall back for a couple of and my wife tells me she enjoys learning new words everytime I attempt the same task.... But as Larry is saying it will get easier for sure...
