Intake valves

I discovered different types of intake valves during the tear down.
Cylinders 1,3, and 4 have concave intake valves, whre 2, 5, & 6 are flat. Which are the correct ones?

I also see some kind of impact on pistons 4 & 5. No apparent damage to the valve surfaces tho. Do you think I should just start with fresh intake valves on all 6?

The concave valves are aftermarket. Obviously replaced due to the incident evidenced on the piston. Those type of valves are what you will find as replacements. They are fine, just fiddly to lap.

Kurt at KMCarburetor.com offers OEM quality Vesrah (OE supplier) valves for the CBX. Reasonably priced.

I just installed a complete set last week.

There are valves out there that have raised lettering on them that are near impossible to lap. Avoid them. Sold by K&L.

The piston damage appears to be a keeper, stem or spring failure.
