Unknown cams

Post by itsacbx »

Hey all,
My son and I have a pile of CBX parts we are slowly working thru to build two bikes and we came across a large box of camshafts .
Most appear to be 79 from Measuring the lift but we have a left and right intake cams with 347 lift and 13900 and 7.94 marked on the ends of the cam.
Anyone got any idea what these are about please? Like brand and usability? Are they high performance cams, racing cams, street cams etc
If I can work out how to upload the pics from my phone I’ll do that …..
Thanks
Al

The #139-00 shows up in this old Megacycle Cams catalog. Page 39.

So my next question is “should
I put these cams in my mild resto-mod “ or do I need a matching set of exhaust cams. I already have a complete set of brand new kibblewhite heavy duty springs sitting in the parts pile….
Or am I just tilting at windmills?

Gotter done, Al. As for the "do I do it", I dunno! Hopefully, some of the real gurus here will have some good info.
